Welcome to the NEW

Kalamazoo Diocesan Council of Catholic Women

Spring 2015 Board Members

We, the Kalamazoo Diocese Council of Catholic Women, act through our membership to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service. KDCCW programs are based on gospel values and authentic church teachings in communion with our Pope and Bishop. They provide spiritual growth, deeper understanding of timely issues and fellowship. We strive to meet the needs of family, Church and community.

KDCCW serves women in southwest Michigan and supports various Catholic missions throughout the world. Our organization was established in 1971 by Bishop Paul V. Donovan the same year the Kalamazoo Diocese was formed. We are affiliated with the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW) through participation in programs and payment dues.

NCCW's three main goals are:
1. To give Catholic women a strong united voice.
2. To insure Catholic representation in local, state, national and international committees affecting religious and moral well being.
3. To stimulate the service of Catholic women's organizations with trained leadership as they work to meet the needs of Church and society.
All are welcome to our quarterly events, which provide an opportunity for fellowship, service and deepening our understanding of and connection to our wonderful faith. Events are held at different parishes throughout the diocese, providing the opportunity to worship in the beautiful churches of other parishes as well as meet new friends. We'd love to have you join us!
